Most singing competitions give money to three people and send everyone else home.

Gospel Voice of Pakistan 2026 is doing something else. Alongside the prizes, twenty contestants will each receive a complete Christian song — written and composed for them by Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir, produced properly, filmed, and released.

Not a demo. Not a rough recording made on a phone. A finished Christian music video.

What Each Song Includes

  • Original lyrics — written for that voice
  • Original melody and composition
  • Music and audio track — properly arranged and produced
  • Studio voice recording
  • Video recording
  • Professional video editing
  • A complete Christian music video, released and shareable

Everything is sponsored. The contestant pays nothing.

Why This Matters More Than the Prize Money

Think about what a gifted young singer in a Pakistani village actually faces. There is no studio. There is no producer who will take a call. There is no budget for a music video, and no label looking for Gospel voices. A magnificent voice can spend forty years inside one congregation and never be recorded once.

Prize money helps a family for a season. A produced song changes what is possible for a lifetime — it is something a singer can share, be invited on the strength of, and build a ministry around.

That is why the twentieth-place contestant may, in the end, receive more than the third.

Where the Songs Come From

Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir has been writing masihi geet since he was a boy, on a rooftop under Pakistani stars, and has written hundreds of songs — most of which have never been released. He composes the melodies himself, and then, characteristically, gives the songs away for other voices to carry. That story is told in From a Rooftop Under the Stars.

These twenty songs come out of the same practice. Each one is written and composed for a particular young singer — not pulled off a shelf, but shaped for the voice that will carry it.

Twenty New Songs for the Urdu Church

Step back and consider what this produces.

Twenty new Urdu Gospel songs that did not exist before. Twenty new music videos. Twenty young believers with something to sing in their churches, at their conventions, and in their own homes. And the songs do not stop with them — a masihi geet that reaches a congregation is sung by that congregation for years.

The Pakistani church has never had a shortage of voices. It has had a shortage of doors. This opens twenty of them at once.
